Την ημέρα εκείνη μεταφέρεται η Αγία Εικόνα στο Μοναστήρι του Κεχροβουνίου και οι πιστοί και επισκέπτες φιλοξενούνται από τις μοναχές. Το βράδυ, με τη συμμετοχή πλήθους κόσμου, γίνεται με πεζοπορία η επιστροφή της Αγίας Εικόνας σε απόσταση 8 χλμ περίπου. Η πομπή προσφέρει ένα μοναδικό θέαμα.
