SHUSMO merges Arab maqam traditions with jazz improvisation, funk grooves, Latin rhythms, and contemporary experimental sounds. Directed by Palestinian composer and buzuq instrumentalist Tareq Abboushi, the ensemble delivers a rhythmically intricate and distinctive musical performance.
