An underground neo soul night.
DeissMarie is an infectious synergy of the optimistic, high energy and deep loving souls of Anna Crumley and Paul Smith. Anna is a SAG-AFTRA vocalist and member of the Los Angeles Master Chorale whose voice can be heard in various major film soundtracks. As a soprano and featured arranger/composer with Lyyra, she consistently performs across Europe, the UK, and the US. Paul has toured with Jacob Jeffries and Suburban Legends, performing with various artists and Grammy-winning ensembles. They bring their influences of Moonchild, Hiatus Kaiyote, D’Angelo, and Charlie Hunter to their neo-soul sound. What The Funk opens the show.
