Tony Kofi & Hans Koller: Celebrating Steve Lacy
An underground ambient jazz night.
Pianist Hans Koller and saxophonist Tony Kofi join forces for a musical tribute to the pioneering soprano saxophonist Steve Lacy. Drawing inspiration from Koller's 2004 collaborative recording London Ear with Lacy as well as ongoing work exploring Thelonious Monk's catalog, the ensemble performs original arrangements and compositions honoring Lacy's influential legacy across two sets.
