In 2003, A Place To Bury Strangers emerged from Oliver Ackermann’s psychotropic vision. Frequently described as the loudest band in New York, the group is renowned for intense live performances featuring immersive visuals and experimental sonic warfare. A 2021 lineup change saw Ackermann joined by John Fedowitz and Sandra Fedowitz of Ceremony East Coast. This iteration represents a sonic return to the band's raw, unhinged roots, evolving into a chaotically apocalyptic new incarnation.
