New Lands and SelOut team up for a special night at The Ivy House, featuring three of South London's finest bands to celebrate the 40th edition of the SelOut zine. Blood Wizard is a South London based project fronted by songwriter Cai Burns. Initially a solo project with folkier leanings, it has evolved into a collaborative unit blending ragged indie rock, dreamy synths, and glitched-out textures. The band has become a fixture of London's DIY scene since the release of their 2021 home-recorded album Western Spaghetti. tall child is the alias for Zha Gandhi, a London-based musician of Nigerian/Indian heritage performing with a band of friends. Taking inspiration from artists like Mitski and Arlo Parks, they create an intimate soundscape paired with honest lyricism exploring experiences as a queer disabled person of colour. They were recently announced as the winner for Green Man Rising. lifepath99 is a noise pop and indie rock project originating from the ether.
