An underground jazz night.
Airborn is the new project led by flutist, multi-instrumentalist and composer Eddie Parker. A founder member of the acclaimed British jazz orchestra Loose Tubes, Parker’s career has seen him collaborate with luminaries including Django Bates, Bheki Mseleku, and the Will Gregory Moog Ensemble. This album launch project features a contemporary quartet exploring new soundworlds and compositions. Speaking about the group, Parker notes that the musicians continuously challenge and teach him, highlighting guitarist Rob Luft's expansive and jaw-dropping approach to the music's sonic horizons.
