Moroccan Gnawa master Maalem Houssam Guinia brings the centuries-old spiritual trance music of Morocco to Prague. The son of the legendary Mahmoud Guinia, Houssam mastered the guimbri bass lute and earned the revered title of maâlem at an exceptionally young age. His performance showcases cyclical spiritual chants, sharp metal percussion rhythms, and the hypnotic traditions of Gnawa music.
