Award-winning Czech composer and trumpeter Jiří Kotača joins the Latvian Radio Big Band for an evening of modern big band music. In addition to presenting his original works, the performance features finalist pieces from the 5th Latvian Radio Big Band and Latvian Music Academy Composition Competition. This concert forms part of the 'American Jazz Night' series at Spīķeri Concert Hall, dedicated to celebrating American jazz heritage and big band traditions.
