Great Lake Swimmers est un groupe canadien originaire de Wainfleet (Ontario). Formé en 2003 autour du songwriter Tony Dekker, il s’est imposé sur la scène de Toronto avec un style folk-rock évanescent, influencé par Neil Young. Leur neuvième album, Caught Light, a été enregistré dans des lieux atypiques comme une église abandonnée et une vieille chapelle, prolongeant l'écho de leurs précédents travaux tout en révélant de nouvelles richesses. Tony Dekker continue de composer des morceaux empreints d'une beauté mélancolique, marchant dans les pas de Gram Parsons et Nick Drake.
