Kerstspel
Het Kerstspel is een hartverwarmende traditie in het Muziekgebouw, uitgevoerd door de 350 leerlingen van de zangopleiding Nieuw Vocaal Amsterdam. De jonge zangers treden op samen met het ensemble Holland Baroque onder leiding van dirigent Leonard Evers. In deze theatrale familievoorstelling blikt een verteller in de rol van Maria terug op haar leven. Het muzikale middelpunt wordt gevormd door sfeervolle arrangementen van Ton Koopman, gebaseerd op eeuwenoude Nederlandse kerstliederen uit de middeleeuwen en de barok.
