Knits & Myths
A slow-burn, underground spoken word night.
A special storytelling evening centered around mythology and textile crafts. The histories of crafting and storytelling are interlaced, much like the connection between text and textile. Skilled storytellers bring the myths of Arachne, Philomela, and Ariadne to life, weaving ancient tales into new interpretations that bridge the past and the modern. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own fiber projects and listen to tales that explore themes of agency, resistance, and fate in both physical and metaphysical realms.
