Ștefan Stoianovici & The Hard Bop Quintet
A homegrown, underground jazz night.
Green Hours presents an energetic yet thoughtful evening of modern jazz, built around the open spirit of music by the great legends of the Hard Bop era. The quintet performs original arrangements and resonant themes from masters like Art Blakey, Clifford Brown, and Hank Mobley. Ștefan Stoianovici is an emerging Romanian pianist and composer whose work bridges jazz improvisation, classical forms, and electronic production. Paolo Profeti, an Italian-born saxophonist, is a prominent figure in Bucharest's jazz scene and leader of the Paolo Profeti European Collective. They are joined by premier trumpet player Silviu Groaza, versatile double bassist Adrian Flautistu, and dynamic jazz drummer Gabi Matei.
