6ft Trio Jazz Jam
An underground, homegrown jazz night.
Jazz jam sessions at Skazi bar Athens in Pagrati. Everyone is welcome to join and play jazz standards with the house band. The venue provides drums, double bass, piano, and amplifiers for guitar and vocals. To ensure everyone gets a chance to play, participants are asked to limit themselves to two pieces each if the venue is crowded. Expect a night of musical cooperation and mutual support among performers. The host group, 6ft Trio, is a modern jazz ensemble based in Athens. Their sound is rooted in the essence of jazz while incorporating philosophical concepts, rhythmic motifs, and cinematic storytelling as heard in their self-titled EP.
