Project DIVFUSE EXTERNAL
An underground, slow-burn electroacoustic night.
Project DIVFUSE presents its third off-site event and second showcase at Cafe OTO, celebrating the fifth anniversary of the independent London exhibition platform. This evening brings together three sound and multi-media artists who have previously engaged with the Project DIVFUSE micro art space in Lower Clapton. The performance focuses on sound pieces sculpted using objects, discarded materials, and algorithmic processes. Kate Carr, a London-based composer and field recordist, explores public spaces through experiments with sounding objects and simple robotics. David Sappa's work spans sound sculpture, improvisation, and field recording, using found materials like driftwood, shells, and glass to create site-responsive sonic textures. Li Song, a London-based musician and programmer, presents his work 'Slow Software,' utilizing computer algorithms and electronic instruments for improvised sound compositions.
