Papaya Papaya Mamão is a celebration of syncretism in electronic music, based on a biweekly radio show on East Village Radio featuring the newest and deepest in Latin American music, blending electronic and organic sounds from field recordings, ambient, experimental, and club music. The night begins with a DJ set, followed by live electroacoustic ensemble performances and hybrid sets exploring Latin bass, reggaeton, dembow, jungle, and tropical pop in an intimate DIY loft space.
