The Cello Section preliminary rounds of the George Enescu International Competition 2026 are open to the public. These sessions offer a unique opportunity to witness rising talents performing in the prestigious George Enescu Hall at the National University of Music Bucharest. Round 1 takes place from August 29 to 31, followed by Round 2 on September 2 and 3. Audience access is available shortly before the morning starts and during performance breaks. Each session features an intermission for attendees.
