Spoonerism presents: flutter listening session
Welcome to the sonic world of flutter, presented by Spoonerism and moderated by Actually Listening. frau is a singer, songwriter, and producer. Nashville-born, she grew up singing acapella before finding her own voice as a Brooklyn-based alt-pop artist. Since 2020 she has been building a world that spans richly melodic pop, twilit electronic confessionals, earnest singer-songwriter balladry, and sparse, unconventional compositions. Her debut album flutter is a nine-track arc exploring the tender chaos of closeness. A flutter is a small thing. Not a movement but a compulsion. The trembling of a wing towards light. The project follows that impulse. flutter was produced in collaboration with brand0 and Michael Deano.
