JAZZx NOW is the competition stage of the JAZZx festival, showcasing the future directions of jazz through artists pushing the genre into fresh territory. Over two days at Iulius Town Timișoara, five finalists selected from over 160 international entries compete for a chance to open the main stage at JAZZx 2027. This year's program features a mix of global talent and local energy, including special invited acts and a diverse range of performances from contemporary jazz and improvisation to cinematic textures, retro soul, and electronic influences.
