A Colourful Storm celebrates its 10th anniversary with two nights of performances at Cafe OTO. The first evening features Simon Fisher Turner, a boundless explorer of sound whose career spans from teenage screen star to illustrious score composer for Derek Jarman and David Lynch. Lone Capture Library, the project of London-based sound artist Rory Salter, presents a rare performance rooted in experimentation with acoustic and electronic instruments, cassette tape, and environmental documentation. Opening the night is Jack Rollo, one half of the duo Time is Away, who incorporates spoken word, field recordings, and music into his ongoing reflections on time and place.
