Parachute
Formed in Charlottesville, Virginia, Parachute is an American pop rock band that developed a soul and funk-influenced indie pop sound. The group built a strong local following as Sparky's Flaw before finding mainstream success with their major-label debut in 2009. The band's breakthrough album, Losing Sleep, reached number 40 on the Billboard 200, helped by national television campaigns. They followed up with The Way It Was in 2011 and Wide Awake in 2013, both achieving high chart positions. Known for their infectious melodies and extensive touring, they have supported major acts like Kelly Clarkson and appeared on Live at Daryl's House.
