Chris Potter is among the most influential voices in contemporary jazz. Known for his endless inventiveness, exceptional technical mastery, and warm tone, he has been an inspiration for a whole generation of saxophonists. His impressive career has seen him perform with the bands of Dave Holland and Dave Douglas, and he has appeared as a sideman on over a hundred recordings. He has shared the stage with legends such as Herbie Hancock, John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Joe Lovano, and Steely Dan. As a bandleader, he has released fifteen albums. In this trio setting, his virtuous play is especially prominent. He is joined by bassist Matt Brewer and drummer Kendrick Scott, a regular with the Blue Note All-Stars.
