Queer Landing: Black Wave
A queer, underground electronic night.
Piet Heinkade 1, 1019 BR Amsterdam, Netherlands
Queer Landing returns to Muziekgebouw on the eve of World Pride with a pre-party on the sun-drenched terrace. This Black Wave edition focuses on artists from the Global South, exploring how art serves as a tool for connection and activism during times of displacement and polarization. The program features sign.nah with an experimental listening session, followed by the ritual performance 'Yalla Tnam' by Ahmad Mallah and Rebecca Lillich Krüger, which examines mourning and survival. Sudanese-Dutch artist Razeen blends Afro-Arabic roots with Western pop, while Mavi Veloso delivers a high-energy avant-pop and ballroom-influenced performance. Closing the night, DJ Rasureitor brings a mix of Colombian rhythms and contemporary club sounds to the dancefloor.
