A queer, slow-burn spoken word night.
Andrea Gibson is one of the most stirring and influential spoken word artists of our time, known for live performances that regularly sell out large capacity venues. Their poems center around LGBTQ issues, gender, feminism, mental health, gun reform, and dismantling oppressive social systems. Accompanied by musicians on stage, Gibson creates supportive, loving spaces for audiences. Author of six full-length poetry collections and seven albums combining spoken word with musical collaborations, Gibson is a former Women's World Poetry Slam winner.
