A nostalgic, raw classical night.
The Residentie Orkest presents a program of classical masterpieces as part of the Cello Biënnale Amsterdam. Renowned cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, known for his performance at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, performs Haydn's Second Cello Concerto. The program also features Ivan Karizna and Liza Ferschtman performing Brahms' Double Concerto for violin and cello, a work composed by Brahms as a gesture of reconciliation for his friend Joseph Joachim.
