Following the group's disbandment in 2010, he launched a successful solo career and established his own label, zelone records. His discography includes acclaimed albums such as "How To Live With A Phantom", "Let’s Dance Raw", and "Like A Fable". Known for his eclectic style and creative artwork, Sakamoto has toured internationally across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, frequently collaborating with artists like Devendra Banhart and Mayer Hawthorne. His most recent work, "Yoo-hoo," was released in early 2026.
