BENTU brings together two of Brazil’s most distinctive musical voices: acclaimed guitarist and vocalist Badi Assad and singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Sérgio Pererê. Rooted in Afro-Brazilian traditions from Minas Gerais and shaped by improvisation, body percussion and contemporary Brazilian songwriting, BENTU creates an intimate and powerful live experience where ancestral rhythms meet innovative soundscapes. Minimal yet deeply expressive, the duo moves between voice, guitar and percussive textures, inviting audiences into a concert that is both meditative and vibrant.
