Pianist Ralph van Raat is known for his affinity with American minimal music. Together with violinist Rosanne Philippens and soprano Laura Bohn, he presents a program centered on rhythm, repetition, and vocal expression. The works of John Adams, Steve Reich, and Philip Glass demonstrate how these composers introduced a new idiom to the classical concert, creating space for movement, energy, and the human voice. Throughout the evening, instrumental and vocal lines engage in constant dialogue.
