Alexander Scheer und Band begeben sich auf eine literarisch-musikalische Spurensuche nach David Bowie. Basierend auf Bowies mobiler Bibliothek mit bis zu 1500 Büchern, erkundet die Hommage den Einfluss der Literatur auf das Werk des Popstars. Das Berliner Ensemble dient als historischer Schauplatz, da Bowie während seiner Zeit in Berlin (1976-1978) selbst Gast des Hauses war. „Heroes“ verbindet Lesung und Konzert zu einer Verneigung vor der Stadt Berlin, ihrem Nachhall in der Weltliteratur und den zeitlosen Songs von David Bowie.
