Blue Öyster Cult

Blue Öyster Cult, often abbreviated as BOC, is an influential American rock band formed in Long Island, New York, in 1967. Originally known as Soft White Underbelly before adopting their current name in 1971, the group released their successful self-titled debut in 1972, which featured tracks like "Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll." Over their extensive career, the band has sold more than 24 million albums worldwide, including 7 million in the United States alone. They are well-regarded for their music videos, which saw significant rotation during the early days of MTV. The current lineup features vocalists Donald Roeser and Eric Bloom, alongside Jules Radino, Richie Castellano, and Kasim Sulton.
