Originally from Lima, Ohio, Hit The Lights have been a prominent force in pop-punk since 2003. Their sound is an energetic mix of high-energy punk rock combined with emo-influenced arrangements and hardcore-style breakdowns. After gaining major attention with their 2006 debut album, the band toured extensively with acts like New Found Glory and Paramore. Following a pivotal lineup change in 2007, guitarist Nick Thompson took over as lead vocalist, leading the band through several successful records on Triple Crown and Pure Noise Records. Despite facing the tragic loss of guitarist Kyle Maite in 2022, the group has continued to create music that reflects their resilience and shared history, considering the band a testament to their unbreakable bond.
