An exceptional choral evening featuring a journey from the fervour and beauty of English music to the captivating colours of Eastern Europe. Highlights include H.B. Gardiner’s Evening Hymn, Charles Villiers Stanford’s Magnificat in G, Edward Elgar’s Psalm 29, and Francis Poulenc’s Gloria. The program also showcases authentic Romanian choral music with vibrant rhythms and harmonies. The performance features soprano Liliana Faraon from the Opera de Paris and organist Steffen Schlandt from the Black Church, conducted by Christian Ciuca with the SummerChoir ensemble.
