Japanese polymath Otomo Yoshihide has spent four decades building a massive body of work across film scores, noise music, and global improvisation on guitar, turntables, and electronics. With his New Jazz Quintet, he channels his core love for jazz, bringing a fiery and intense approach to classic 1960s styles pioneered by legends like Coleman, Ayler, and Dolphy, while also performing original compositions.
