Passion Pit began as a one-man project by Michael Angelakos in Cambridge, NY, originally created as a Valentine's Day gift. The project quickly evolved into a full band known for its synth-heavy pop sound. Their debut EP, Chunk of Change, featured the hit single 'Sleepyhead', followed by successful albums like Manners and Gossamer. Angelakos has also been a prominent advocate for mental health awareness within the music industry. Today, the band continues to perform with a lineup led by Angelakos alongside several touring musicians.
