Curated and hosted by artist and cultural strategist Marc Bamuthi Joseph, this event brings together multidisciplinary artists tasked with creating a set that answers the question: “When in your American life have you felt most free?” This performance is the debut of a six-city roadshow series unfolding over two years. Each event explores core American questions, creating regionally rooted performances that contribute to a larger national narrative about democracy and belonging. The series travels across the country to weave local voices and cultural strategies into a shared story of identity and progress.
