AMERICA(!) THE BEAUTIFUL(?)

America(!)... The Beautiful(?) is an immersive evening of performance and civic imagination. Curated and hosted by artist and cultural strategist Marc Bamuthi Joseph, this event brings together multidisciplinary artists tasked with creating a set that answers the question: “When in your American life have you felt most free?” This performance is the debut of a six-city roadshow series unfolding over two years. Each event explores core American questions, creating regionally rooted performances that contribute to a larger national narrative about democracy and belonging. The series travels across the country to weave local voices and cultural strategies into a shared story of identity and progress.
