De zussen Milstein presenteren een Frans-Russisch programma dat put uit hun persoonlijke geschiedenis en muzikale vriendschappen. Naast bekende vioolsonates van Francis Poulenc en Sergej Prokofjev brengen zij zelden gehoord werk van Valéry Arzoumanov, een huisvriend van de familie Milstein wiens composities doordrongen zijn van een diepe nostalgie naar het vooroorlogse Sint-Petersburg. Het concert opent met de dromerige klanken van Lili Boulanger, wiens muziek de brug slaat tussen Russische melancholie en Franse romantiek.
