Aurora Halal is a producer, DJ, and the visionary behind Brooklyn's influential Mutual Dreaming party series and the Sustain-Release festival. Known for a sound that is shadowy and psychedelic, her hardware-focused live and DJ performances blend hazy sensuality with metallic intensity. Her sets are characterized by a balance of playfulness, darkness, euphoria, and emotional vulnerability. Since 2010, she has championed an underground, DIY approach that prioritizes forward-thinking production and ideas. Over the past decade, she has performed at clubs, raves, and festivals globally, establishing a reputation for immersive sets that resonate with both body and mind. She is a long-standing resident at Nowadays in New York City and a regular performer at Berghain.
