Pianist and composer Elio Villafranca presents Florentina, an original suite inspired by the life of Florentina Zulueta, an enslaved West African woman in Cuba. Written for a 10-piece ensemble alongside a choir, the work reflects themes of loss, dignity, and cultural resilience.
