Pop Music Fever Dream is a queer post-punk/no wave band from New York City. Their sound harkens back to the 70s NYC no wave movement and American post-punk movement of the 80s that is both wildly invigorating and deeply sobering. The band started as a solo project by multi-instrumentalist Tim Seeberger in 2022 as a marriage of their anger towards the disastrous effects of modern life and their love for those affected by it to create a sound of hope. Today, PMFD includes Nicole Harwayne on guitar, Carmen Castillo on bass and second vocals, and Violette Grim on drums.
