Carol Ruiz is a solo pianist, chamber musician, and concert organizer whose playing is characterized by intense listening and a refined legato. A Barcelona native who has lived in the Netherlands since 2004, she is an ambassador for Catalan culture and artistic director of Stichting PianoKlanken. Four on the Floor is a young jazz ensemble featuring Octavian Wijnbergh, Márton Hegyi, Niels Bangerter, and Sam van Zanten. Finalists of the Princes Christina Jazz Concours 2025, they were awarded the Vondelpark Openluchttheater Prize.
