He is a prominent figure in the Belgian music scene, performing with various ensembles such as Unfinished Business, the Fela Kuti Celebration Band, and the Hnita Bigband. For this performance, Colson explores his fascination with the lyrical depth of classic jazz standards, presenting them through both his trumpet and his vocals. He is accompanied by a rhythm section featuring some of Belgium's most accomplished jazz musicians, including Milan Verbist on piano, Jasen Weaver on double bass, and Matthias De Waele on drums.
