'Live at the chapel' marks the initial release in a three-part project centered on British Isles folk manuscripts, reimagined through arrangements, composition, and live sets. Recorded across biannual concerts at different London venues, the recordings provide the foundation for subsequent works, blending traditional tunes with newly uncovered archival melodies and original material to form a 40-piece collection. Celebrating the album's launch, Charlie Wheatley performs live on the Thames.
