Pretty//Ugly w/ supermarkt + Arc Vale + Fr0m

Returning to OCCII after their March appearance. Such a fun and vivid live band. I am excited to host them once again. supermarkt is a five-piece Noise {Dance} rock band :3 based in Amsterdam. The sound is raw, real, relentless. Inspired by noise rock, Anatolian rock, no wave and tinnitus. Lyrics tell stories of the absurd, the obscene and the senseless. Arc Vale is a collaborative project between Zamity Mitelembe (formerly of Salutingrome) and Noah Dackus. A new ambitious project that pushes both artists into new creative territory. This project erupted into a stark exploration of sound that defies easy categorization. The result is a debut record that is both emotive and atmospheric. Fernando also caught me off guard. Really loved his set last February. From is the solo project of Spanish artist Fernando Romero, now based in the Netherlands. Blending jazz, dub, and post-punk with Spanish musical traditions, he has released two acclaimed albums, Insecto (2022) and Modelo para armar (2024).
