An underground classical night.
Le Cercle Littéraire Irlandais presents a special performance created by Fiona Fauchois, featuring soprano Fiona Fauchois and pianist Nataliya Nikolskaya. Based on Kathleen Handrick's fictional monologue inspired by seanchaí and Frongoch internment camp prisoner Michael Rogers (1860–1936), the show blends spoken narrative with vocal works by Samuel Barber and Benjamin Britten.
