Super Sessions are music events or long dj sets where the music is a fusion of various types of electronic dance music, such as house, electro, techno, trance, and others. The main idea behind this fusion is to “keep the groove”. A Super Session blends sounds and rhythms to create the feeling of an unpredictable, exhilarating celebration. The Super Session series takes its name from Mike Bloomfield’s iconic 1968 album. We could, therefore, say that a Super Session seeks to recreate for the listener the feeling experienced by listeners in 1968 when they first heard the original Super Session.
