Socks;SportsSocks, a Rotterdam band with a contemporary DIY mentality, performs music that captures the struggles and ironies of modern youth. Their sound blends lo-fi indie, bedroom art-pop, ambient, and post-punk, showcased in their debut album, Ironic Songs for a Sincere Generation. Joining them is Coaster, a Utrecht-based folky slowcore duo comprising Bart Appel and Paul Dijkman. Drawing inspiration from 90s and 00s lo-fi acts, they create intimate dreampop and melancholic music that focuses on resilience and the appreciation of small life moments. For their live performance, they are joined by Stephan de Hoop on drums and Kyon Edelenbosch on bass.
