Founded and led by British musician Mick Jones, Foreigner is a British-American rock band formed in 1976 in New York City. The group has achieved worldwide success, selling over 80 million records. Their debut album in 1977 introduced classics such as "Feels Like the Very First Time" and "Cold as Ice." The band's catalog features numerous hits that have become staples of film and video game soundtracks, including "Waiting For a Girl Like You," "Hot Blooded," and "Juke Box Hero." In 2013, Mick Jones and former lead singer Lou Gramm were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The band continues to perform their unique blend of soulful rock, blues, and R&B.
