The fifth edition of Bucharest Deathfest expands to a two-day format featuring a lineup of 12-13 extreme metal bands. The festival kicks off on Friday with 4-5 acts, followed by a Saturday program of up to 8 bands. Hosted at Quantic and organized by Axa Valaha Productions, this edition continues to celebrate international and local death metal and grindcore talent. Already confirmed for the lineup are veteran acts like Vomitory from Sweden and Malta's Beheaded, alongside technical and brutal death metal groups such as Profanity and Ancient Malice. The event is limited to 600 attendees, maintaining the dedicated atmosphere the festival is known for.
