Dubbel slotconcert van het FIBER Festival 2026, waarin jazzstructuren worden omarmd, gebogen en doorbroken. KUNTARI bestaat uit het duo Tesla Manaf en Rio Abror, en is ontstaan uit de wens om te breken met conventionele jazzstructuren. Het duo gebruikt als eigen genre-omschrijving de term primal-core, opgebouwd uit percussieve gitaar, roto-toms, veldopnames en zang. Elementen van sludge metal, noise en post-hardcore schuren langs traditionele folkmuziek en jazz, en verwijzen naar sound art, 20e-eeuws minimalisme en duistere ambient. De optredens van Abdullah Miniaway Trio kennen een ingetogen intensiteit. Het trio verkent Egyptische vocale tradities op het kruispunt van barok contrapunt, uitgebreide koperblaastechnieken en elektronische muziek.
