Glen Hansard’s musical journey began in Dublin in the early 1980s, busking on the streets before forming the rock powerhouse The Frames in 1990. The band achieved massive national success in Ireland with hits like “Fake” and “Finally” and opened for legends like Bob Dylan. Hansard rose to international fame through the indie film Once, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
